Our 5-Step Lawn Application Schedule

Round 1: April - May

The first round application is to help revitalize the lawn and awaken it from dormancy. The first application consists of a 90-day granular pre-emergent crabgrass control fertilizer, which controls crabgrass from germination.

Round 2: May - June

The second round is a liquid weed control to help prevent and kill invasive weeds such as dandelions as the ground temperatures rise.

Round 3: June - July

The third round application comes back with a slow-release granular fertilizer to give your lawn the extra nutrients it needs to help thicken it while applying another round of liquid weed control and spot spraying.

Gypsum - June - July

Gypsum is typically completed in conjunction with Round 3 when conditions are optimal. Gypsum helps reduce soil compaction to ensure your lawn receives the air, nutrients, and water needed to survive and thrive while boosting nutrient intake.

Round 4: July - August

The fourth round continues the third round by applying another slow-release fertilizer that provides nutrients that help during the hottest part of the summer while providing spot spraying for any nuisance weeds in your lawn.

Round 5: September - October

The fifth application is a granular fertilizer that prepares your yard for winter by providing nutrients to survive winter, stimulating the lawn for the following spring. We will also spot spray for any existing weeds on the property.
