Create the Lawn of Your Dreams with Hydroseeding
The fast and reliable way to seed and nourish a large area
Create a lush, healthy lawn quickly and efficiently with Andy's Lawn & Snow's hydroseeding service. Hydroseeding is an efficient method to simultaneously seed and nourish a large area with grass or wildflowers. Our specialized pump sprays a slurry of carefully selected seeds, mulch, fertilizer, and water. This ensures optimal growth and coverage and provides convenient and cost-effective residential and commercial application results.
Whether you need to seed bare soil, patch troubled areas, repair turf areas after excavation, or spread a mixture of wildflowers, our hydroseeding service is the solution for creating a vibrant and healthy lawn.

Key Benefits of Hydroseeding
Discover why hydroseeding is the superior choice for your lawn.
- Establishes the lawn faster than traditional seeding methods by preventing seeds from drying out quickly, leading to earlier germination.
- Costs 50%+ less than sod, making it a cost-effective option for establishing a new lawn or repairing existing turf areas.
- Requires less water than sod or traditional seed due to the water-holding capacity of hydro-mulch, promoting fast germination and high plant survival rates.
- Produces a healthier and more resilient lawn by promoting a deeper root system, avoiding potential transplanting problems associated with incorrectly installed sod.
Cost-effective and Environmentally Friendly Results
Enjoy the benefits of hydroseeding while promoting a greener environment
Hydroseeding offers convenient and cost-effective results compared to traditional seeding or sodding. The slurry of grass seed, fertilizer, water, and other additives covers larger surface areas in less time. While site preparation and renovation are similar to traditional methods, the installation of hydroseed is significantly more affordable than sodding a lawn. Additionally, hydroseeding promotes environmentally friendly practices with benefits such as faster results, improved soil quality, reduced water usage, less soil erosion, and biodegradable materials that allow the environment and wildlife to thrive.

Hydroseeding After-Care Instructions
To ensure optimal results, it is important that you take extra care of your newly hydroseded lawn. Here are some important hydroseed after-care instructions to follow:
- Begin watering the day after application; water 3 times daily usually 15 min per cycle until fully germinated. Keep soil consistently moist.
- After full germination, reduce watering to once daily or every other day, adjusting for weather.
- Avoid foot traffic immediately and minimize traffic for 5–6 weeks.
- Mow when grass reaches 3 inches; never remove more than ⅓ of blade height.
- Fertilize 30 days after application using a high-nitrogen fertilizer. Avoid weed control products during the first month.
- The green dye will fade within a few days — this is normal.
